Who is responsible for your information
Jour J is responsible for the personal information collected through this site.
For any question about the protection of your personal information, you can write to justine@jourj.ca.
The information we collect
Contact form: first name, last name, email, phone number, along with the information you choose to share about your event.
Free resources: your email address and, if you wish, your first name.
Client area: your name, your email address and the history of your visits to your private space.
Technical data: IP address and browser type, kept for security purposes and to prevent automated submissions.
Referral information: the page you arrived on and, where applicable, the campaign parameters in the link you clicked. They are kept with your request so we can tell which ads lead to real projects.
Why we use it
To answer your request, prepare a first meeting and offer you support suited to your event.
To send you the documents you requested.
To give you access to your client area and support you there throughout the planning.
To send you commercial communications, only if you have explicitly consented. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
How long we keep it
Contact requests are kept for 365 days from the last exchange.
Information related to an engagement is kept for the duration of the engagement and for 365 days afterwards, in particular to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
The email addresses of subscribers are kept until consent is withdrawn.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information.
Some providers process data on our behalf, notably our hosting provider, our email delivery service, our appointment booking tool and our partner registration and fundraising platform. Each has access only to the information required for its service.
When an engagement requires it, certain information may be passed on to event suppliers (hotel, caterer), strictly to the extent necessary for the event.
Your rights
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, its correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent.
You can also request the portability of your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
To exercise these rights, write to justine@jourj.ca. We reply within 30 days.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are essential to its operation: they remember your language, secure the forms and keep your session. They serve no other purpose and require no consent.
We advertise on Google and on Meta (Facebook, Instagram). To find out which ads lead to genuine enquiries, those platforms set their own cookies. They are only set once you accept in the banner: until you answer, or if you decline, none of their scripts is even loaded.
Your choice is kept for six months. You can change it at any time through the “Advertising choices” link at the bottom of every page.
Security
Exchanges with this site are encrypted. Client area documents are accessible only to explicitly authorised people, and access is logged.
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we take the required measures and issue the notices provided for by law.
